Our exciting program, "Tiny Tillers”, is designed to engage young learners ages 3-5 and a favorite grown-up in fun, hands-on activities to learn more about nature and agriculture. Children and their adult guardian participate in a wide range of activties together led by a naturalist teacher at our 115-acre center.
The spring season will have its own morning and afternoon session of four classes in a series that meet on Thursdays in May at 10:00 - 11:15 a.m and 1:00- 2:15 p.m.
Our Spring 2012 session will meet on May 3rd, 10th 24th and 31st. This session we'll explore:
- "Mud Soup"
- "Wiggling Worms"
- "Wild about Wild Flowers "
- "Growing Vegetable Soup "
Each class includes a book adventure, a discovery hike, a make & take craft and a “farm fresh” snack.
The Tiny Tillers registration fee is $32.00 for all four sessions. See here for information on member discounts for educational programs. *Please note that due to safety and room occupancy issues, we are unable to accomodate additional children under 3 years of age.
