Crown Point Ecology Center is green space that matters – a biologically diverse living laboratory that serves to demonstrate practical applications of ecology. The 130-acre Crown Point farmland in Bath, Ohio is a regional model for sustainable agriculture and environmental education. We believe that ecological land stewardship encourages structural and social change through local food production, positive impacts on the environment, health of our citizens, and local economic development.

Please join us for a magical evening in the Bath countryside — a harvest dinner celebration marking the 12th anniversary of Taste of Earth and the 100th birthday of Crown Point’s Bank Barn. Enjoy fresh country air and nature’s gifts while sampling mouth-watering hors d’oeuvres and refreshing beverages. The Brick Road Ramblers will have your toes tapping as you browse an array of wonderful auction items in the Bank Barn. Later you will savor a delicious dinner that features Crown Point’s farm-fresh certified-organic vegetables. Help celebrate the unveiling of Crown Point’s Quilt Barn . . . extending the growing Quilt Barn Trail to northern Ohio

A snapshot of Crown Point Ecology Center’s 2009 accomplishments includes the following:

Crown Point donated 30,000 pounds of fresh vegetables in 2009 to hungry families served by the Akron/Canton Regional Foodbank.
Crown Point has donated 250,000 lbs of produce to the Akron/Canton Regional Foodbank since the start of the Foodbank Farm.
Over 2000 people purchased organic plants at Crown Point's May Plant Sale that featured many heirloom selections.
Crown Point celebrated its 12th anniversary of Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) through which 210 families shared in the benefits of this premier local food system.
The Farm & Science Camp hosted 155 children at seven, week-long summer sessions.
The 11th Annual Taste of Earth dinner and auction drew 250 guests who celebrated the beauty and bounty of Crown Point’s lovely land.
Over 10,000 people visited Crown Point Ecology Center during the 2009 season!
