Lessons on the Land:
Who Makes a Farm Work? You Do!
For children ages 6-8 and 9-11 years
Join the Crown Point Science Investigators. The C.S.I. team will work and play together on the Crown Point farm while exploring fields, forest, barns, gardens, and the wetland-pond to solve Who makes a farm work? Along the way, we’ll harvest and prepare food for daily snacks, play games, and even set-up and run a farm market! Through a variety of fun interactive problem-solving activities, the second season of the Summer Farm and Science School offers an opportunity for children to discover how the interactions of people, plants, and animals come together to create a farm community. Children become members of Crown Point’s diverse community, engaging in science, art, math, music, language arts, and games to develop critical thinking, and team building skills.
